Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Hostess who will also assist our serving staff at L’Auberge Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing them with an exceptional first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, considering guests’ preferences and special requests.
- Assist servers in setting up tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about menu items and restaurant services.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment, working collaboratively with all staff members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferably in a fine dining setting.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence.
- A warm, friendly personality with a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
