We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our team for high-rise building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, excellent coordination skills, and proven experience in managing MEP activities throughout the construction lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP activities across all phases of high-rise construction projects.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure smooth coordination between MEP disciplines, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Monitor and support site execution to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Identify and resolve design and construction clashes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate MEP documentation and reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, project procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6–8 years of experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry.
- Proven experience working on high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
- Hands-on experience with shop drawings, coordination drawings, and site execution support.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and MEP coordination processes.
- Experience in project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
