Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory in designated storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and handle inventory safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
- Inspect inventory for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to warehouse supervisors.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling and record-keeping.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations related to inventory counts and measurements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
